Zardari tries to woo Dr Mirza - The Xtra News

KARACHI - President Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting with his estranged loyalist Dr Zulfiqar Mirza on Wednesday, and tried to remove his concerns, a private TV channel reported. According to Dunya News, the president, during his two-day visit to Karachi, went to Mirza’s residence in Defence, and met him and his wife Dr Fahmida Mirza, speaker of the National Assembly. The meeting lasted for about half an hour. The TV channel, citing its sources, also reported that the president had gone to inquire about Dr Fehmida Mirza’s health.
